Axcis Education are pleased to be working with a mainstream primary school in Chester, who are searching for a teaching assistant to join their team. The role will involve working alongside another teaching assistant to provide 2:1 support to a pupil with SEND. The SEND of the pupil includes challenging behaviour, SEMH, and non-verbal communication. This is a long-term full-time role. 1. Experience working in a school or care setting, or have transferable skills.
2. Knowledge and experience with SEND.
3. A willingness to engage in activities with the children.
4. A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
5. Reliability and consistency.
6. Availability during working hours (8.30am – 4pm, times may vary) and commitment to a full-time role (term-time only).
