About The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Production Team Leader to join our team and play a key role within the Operations division. In this position you will lead, manage, motivate and coordinate the team within your responsibility to ensure that daily targets are achieved and daily orders are fully satisfied to the highest quality and standards. Tuesday - Saturday, 7:45am - 4:30pm Your key responsibilities will include: To ensure all products are correctly picked in line with company and customer expectations All documentation and checks are completed in accordance with timescale and that both checks and paperwork is fully compliant with guidelines Oversee the workload of the warehouse personnel and ensuring that goods are despatched in a timely manner as per departmental KPI’s Oversee the goods-in process, location, rotation and management of stock Train warehouse Colleagues (including casual staff) in best department practice ensuring staff follow SOP’s and standards Overseeing in-house production work following the production plan, ensuring work carried out within departmental lead times Liaise closely with the QA team to ensure quality checks are completed in a timely manner Lead weekly stock takes, ensuring warehouse is ready prior to the stock take Communicate any quality, technical, machine or Health & Safety issues to the relevant department in the in the first instance Ensure the effective use and management of IT systems Assist in the development of new systems to help with overall efficiencies and stock monitoring Through consultation with the shift operations leader drive any remedial actions to ensure production plan is met Seek and drive actions for a continuous improvement environment Ensure all colleagues are working in a safe and clean environment and meeting with Health and Safety regulations adhering to the Clean As You Go Policy Promote a Health & Safety, quality focussed and driven culture within the operation Ensure all colleagues are fully trained, utilised accordingly and motivated to undertake their roles within the business Working with all departments within the business unit to ensure all products are produced to the highest quality and standards according to the order requirements To deputise for the Shift Operations Leader when required including the attendance of meetings To ensure that all IPL values are demonstrated all the time Lead by example ensuring warehouse operatives/apprentices/agency staff follow Company and departmental procedures at all times What are we looking for? Excellent IT skills – Prophet or a similar ERP system Willing to undergo requested training for the role Effective communication & writing skill with the confidence to challenge and question Flexible and self-motivated Positive attitude to work and a can-do attitude Ability to be logical and analytical with problem solving experience Prior experience of Working in a fast paced environment The ability to work quickly and methodically Excellent team work and leadership skills An good awareness to Health & Safety What's in it for you?
