Their Scottish banking & finance practice is well established, and they work across borrower, lender, and investor clients across a broad range of banking & finance transactions. The Role!
The senior associate will work with an impressive client base on a broad range of banking & finance transactions across corporate lending, leveraged finance, asset finance, real estate finance, project finance, and invoice discounting. More specifically, this will include:
1. Drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents (LMA and non-LMA)
2. Negotiating inter-creditor agreements or arrangements
3. Overseeing any other matters related to live lending transactions
4. Mentoring and coaching junior lawyers and trainees
5. Getting involved in the business development of the team
You will be!
You will ideally meet the following criteria:
1. Qualified Solicitor – Scottish qualified/Dual qualified (Scotland/E & W)
2. 4+ years PQE working within the banking and finance practice of a commercial law firm
3. Experience of working on a broad range of banking transactions
4. Technically strong solicitor with excellent drafting skills
5. Strong client management and communication skills
