Head of HR At Partners in Support, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support that enhances the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism in Hertfordshire. We are looking for a dynamic Head of Human Resources (HR) to join our Senior Management Team. This role is pivotal in driving our HR strategy and ensuring our practices align with our business aims and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with business strategy and values. HR Services Management: Oversee recruitment, records management, and employee relations. Compliance: Ensure HR practices meet legal and regulatory standards. Organisational Development: Propose and develop initiatives for organisational growth. Office Management: Manage office functions and ensure legal compliance. Employee Relations: Advise managers on HR policies and issues. Training and Development: Ensure robust training programs through the Training Manager and Compliance Coordinator. Audit Facilitation: Oversee audits and implement resulting actions. Market Competitiveness: Ensure competitive salary reviews and benefits packages. What you’ll need: Minimum of 3 years in a Human Resources role. Up-to-date knowledge of employment law. Qualified CIPD member. Experience supervising others. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and HR management systems. Strong planning and project management skills with a systematic approach to work. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions in complex situations. Commitment to the aims and values of Partners in Support. Circumstances: Able to work a minimum 4 days per week from Monday to Friday. Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week in person at the office in Stevenage.
