We are looking to employ an Imaging Senior Imaging Healthcare Assistant to work within the CT/MR Department at the James Paget University Hospital and within our CDC in Gorleston and the soon to be opened site in Yarmouth.
To provide support to the imaging team with clinical and direct patient care roles and clerical duties to assist patient flow, safety and experience. The role involves liaising with various areas of the Trust including wards/ED, clinics and porters displaying excellent conduct and communication with a professional manner at all times.
Working under the direction of a Registered Health Care Professional, SIDAs participate in the clinical care provided to patients, prioritising workload appropriately and developing competencies that safeguard practice and effectiveness in role. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
1. This role is vital to the provision of clinical services and ensures that the departments' working flow meets the needs of the patients attending our service.
2. This role will also support patient preparation for imaging through cannulation and pre-scanning checks.
3. The role will vary every day depending on the area in which you are working and the patients attending the service.
