Excellent opportunity to work for a highly successful, growing & ambitious, UK manufacturer of office furniture Fantastic earning potential with an excellent, uncapped commission scheme A chance to take over a well performing territory with huge potential Area Sales Manager - North & Scotland The Role of Area Sales Manager: As an Area Sales Manager working for this highly ambitious, growing & reputable manufacturer, you will be responsible for selling a range of high quality office furniture and accessories designed for the commercial market, including desking, seating, meeting tables & storage, for any area found within a commercial office space, such as reception, break out areas, collaborative working environments, work space and executive meeting suites. Your role will be to develop and grow sales within an established, well performing, customer base made up of circa 150 re-sellers and dealerships, with a particular focus on developing strong internal relationships with their direct sales teams to encourage them to use our clients range of products in proposals and specifications to their end user customers, as opposed to other partners they work with. Your day to day will be spent liaising with key decision makers from your existing/prospective account base, who will be the likes of Office Equipment Resellers, Design and Build Companies and Dealerships, to identify upcoming projects and ensure that our clients range of products are at the forefront of their minds. Given the variety of individuals & environments you will find yourself dealing with on a daily basis, you will need to take an adaptable and flexible approach and be an agile communicator. Our client, established in 2009, are a young, ambitious and dynamic organization who have gone from strength to strength since their inception, with a turnover of just over £8 million to date, and have just invested in a brand new showroom/office space in the heart of Clerkenwell. They have a fantastic reputation in their market place, and are passionate about investing in both new product design and technology to stay ahead of the game This is a home-based role, covering a territory from Nottingham up to Glasgow/Edinburgh. Ideally you will be based Manchester, Leeds, Hull, Grimsby, Yorkshire area given the location of the majority of the existing customer base, but you could be based anywhere in the area providing you are happy with the travel required to ensure effective and acceptable management of the entire region. For the Position of Area Sales Manager - North & Scotland, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria: Have either sold office furniture before to any route to market (direct or via re-seller) OR Have sold any product before through a network of re-seller/dealership partners Demonstrable track record in both management & growing existing accounts & hitting new business targets Outgoing, able to network and build relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels Structured, organised, used to using CRM systems A true team player who enjoys a collaborative work environment Benefits of this Area Sales Manager - North & Scotland: £40,000 to £55,000 basic salary DoE OTE £30k commission (uncapped) High spec PHEV or electric company car or Car Allowance Pension, mobile phone, laptop. 31 days' holiday (inc.
