Job Description
The Sid Lee London operations team are responsible for delivering high quality, memorable guest programmes for our client as well as several other events and sponsorship activations. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Account Director and Account Managers in the day-to-day planning, co-ordination and execution of all events, activations, and sponsorship guest programmes. Your remit will include supplier management and negotiation, planning and scheduling, inventory management, compiling research, documentation, briefs, and files for events.
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the events and/or hospitality. Educated to degree level, ideally in Sport Event Management.
Responsibilities
1. Research & Coordination: Conduct detailed research, liaise, negotiate and manage relationships with venues, accommodation, transport, merchandise, and more.
2. Client Presentations: Formulate clear, concise documents for client presentations, showcasing the exciting elements of guest and programmes.
3. Partner Liaison: Work closely with our DMC partners and local offices to ensure seamless on-the-ground coordination.
4. Staff Recruitment & Training: Assist in recruiting and training on-site staff with the support of our local team, ensuring everyone is ready for on ground activations.
5. Site Visits: Organise and complete site visits to ensure all venues and locations are suitable for event needs.
6. Guest Registration & Management: Handle guest registration through our online system, ensuring everything runs smoothly for guests. Answer guest queries received through the email and phone helplines.
7. Branding & Merchandise: Source and design event branding, gifts, and manage the delivery, storage, and stock control for all materials.

2. Meticulous, good at paying attention to detail when carrying out work.
3. Work effectively to meet deadlines, with ability to structure and prioritise work.
4. Able to work independently yet work well within and enjoy being part of a team.
5. Work in a professional manner at all times, remaining calm under pressure.
6. Hold enthusiasm for the role, industry and organisation.
7. Strong telephone and IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite).
8. Fluency in English, any additional language would be viewed positively.
Work Environment
Our office is located in Farringdon, we offer flexible working with three days in the office and two from home.
