Job Description:
Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire?
Main Duties of the Role
* Work with the ICT Managed Service team to overcome any issues.
Your Skills and Experience
* At least 3+ years’ relevant experience working within a support or hosting operations environment.
* Experience with Google for Education, Class Charts, GDrive, GADS.
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Office 365 and Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
* Good working knowledge of:
o Veeam
o Virtualisation technologies including VMWare and Hyper-V
o VLANs and VPN configuration
o Server-based client services (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, NPS, GPO’s)
o PowerShell scripting
o SAN technologies
o Server & Infrastructure hardware
o Understanding of Firewalls, Smoothwall, SonicWALL
o Understanding of Safeguarding Filtering solutions, Lightspeed, Smoothwall, SafetyNet
Salary
£30,000-£36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
