Summary
Do you have administration experience within a school environment? Support Harris Primary Academy Chafford Hundred in the smooth running of our administration office and wider academy. We are looking for an Attendance and Administrative Officer to work within our Admin Office, undertaking attendance, reception, and other administrative duties.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
* Daily monitoring and follow-up of attendance and punctuality
* Assisting in the management and development of attendance and punctuality policies
* Daily monitoring and early calls on the attendance of absent pupils
* Preparing and distributing attendance and punctuality certificates
* Sending template letters to parents regarding attendance and punctuality matters
* Monitoring poor attendance and punctuality
* Developing and improving existing tools and procedures for attendance and punctuality monitoring
* Liaising with the Education Welfare Officer to ensure prompt, consistent and rigorous intervention with poor attendance
* Dealing efficiently and effectively with referrals on attendance concerns.
* Communicating with parents/carers of pupils and with persons or bodies outside the Academy concerned with the welfare of individual students
Qualifications & Experience
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Experience of delivering a high-quality service
* Experience of a range of general administrative duties
* Good ICT skills and experience, including Word, Excel, and management information systems
* Experience working with children of relevant age
* A good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy skills
