Mechanical Fitter We are looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Fitters to be based at our site at Riverside Work, Kilmarnock. Working from engineering drawings and documentation to carry out the manufacture, installation, commissioning, fault diagnosis of hydraulic, and mechanical equipment, primarily railway maintenance equipment. To deliver high quality, consistent and competent mechanical fitting in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures. 40 hours per week - Mon-Thurs: 7am to 5pm (paid 1 hour break) Starting rate: £38,000 per annum (depending on experience) Key Areas of Responsibility · Build of all types of railway maintenance equipment. · Dismantling, inspection, condition assessment and subsequent report on received equipment. · Fault finding of electromechanical equipment. · Working within and contributing towards current health & Safety guidelines and site requirements. · Good team working skills as well as working on own initiative. · Promote good housekeeping for an efficient working environment. · Building sub-assemblies to engineering drawings. · Work on preventative maintenance. · Trouble shoot and problem solve engineering issues. · Customer focused approach workload and committed team player.
