Programme Manager (9 Month Secondment)

The Senior Manager - Project Management is responsible for leading the successful delivery of projects across the Organisation. This role will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables to ensure successful completion of projects on time and within budget. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for providing guidance to project teams in order to meet objectives, as well as ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed throughout the life cycle of each project."
Project Leadership : Lead end-to-end project management for telecommunications product enablement, from initial scoping to delivery, ensuring all deliverables are met within agreed timelines and budgets.
~ Provisioning & Enablement : Oversee the provisioning of key telecommunication services such as WiFi, business broadband, SD-WAN, and TV, ensuring smooth deployment and activation for both residential and business clients.
~ Stakeholder Management : Liaise with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer support) and external vendors to ensure clear communication, coordination, and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
~ Risk & Issue Management : Identify potential risks and proactively manage issues throughout the project lifecycle. Implement mitigation plans to address any project delays, technical challenges, or operational bottlenecks.
~ Budget & Resource Management : Monitor project costs and ensure that projects are delivered within budget. Regularly update clients on project status, provide technical guidance, and ensure that the delivered solutions meet customer requirements and quality standards.
~ Evaluate and refine project management processes, identifying opportunities to improve project delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
~ Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
~ Compliance & Quality Assurance : Ensure that all projects comply with industry standards, legal requirements, and organisational policies. Conduct thorough quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.
~ Tracks progress using appropriate tools such as Gants charts or other software applications."
~ Experience : Proven experience in project management within the telecommunications industry, with a specific focus on provisioning and enabling products like WiFi, busi ness broadband, SD-WAN, and TV services.
~ Project Management Expertise : Proven track record in delivering complex telecommunications projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
~ Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and services, including WiFi networks, broadband infrastructure, SD-WAN solutions, and television services.
~ Stakeholder Management : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to senior management.
~ Certifications : PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is preferred. ITIL or other relevant industry certifications would be beneficial.
~ Demonstrated leadership skills in managing diverse teams and collaborating across departments to achieve project goals.
