We are looking for an experienced, patient-centered AHP to take up our AHP practice educator role working within our AHP faculty supported by our faculty lead and Chief Allied Health Professional. You will work closely with clinical teams across a wide range of specialties delivering key streams of work on behalf of our faculty.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of the AHP faculty team to provide support and guidance to AHP learners across all staff groups. They will work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure the development of inter professional learning opportunities in practice.
In addition, you will ensure that appropriate learning environments are created and maintained to drive the integration of theory with practice, working in conjunction with service leads and lead professionals for AHPs to deliver excellent learning opportunities across all areas of practice.
The post holder will establish and maintain good and effective working relationships with colleagues both within and outside UHL to improve education. This includes educational providers, AHP leads, multidisciplinary teams and external organisations ensuring all relevant parties are informed on matters relating to education and practice.

They will promote and maintain high professional standards of verbal, written and non-verbal communication, including complex and sensitive information relating to patients for themselves and for students for whom they are responsible.
They will ensure effective communication and promotion of the service and where appropriate organise, lead and co-ordinate such meetings.
The post holder will through the AHP faculty inform AHP leaders about potential changes to practice education and learning for both students, support workers and registrants.
They will promote an understanding of the professions and contribute to the sharing of learning across professional and organisational boundaries to promote improvements in AHP practice education.
