Your Role
The Fraud Strategy Manager is critical in maintaining the profitability and compliance of our lending business, developing and implementing a robust evidence-based strategy to combat all types of fraud that might be perpertrated through our retail credit proposition, including impersonation and account takeover fraud. Strategies and process must ensure we meet our obligations to customers and regulators, whilst minimising cost and maximising revenue for the business.
What you will be doing
1. Work with Head of Credit Risk and other key stakeholders to develop and implement an effective fraud strategy that minimises fraud risk without excessive friction
2. Lead a team of fraud analysts, providing training, coaching and guidance to enhance fraud prevention and detection capabilities
3. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments, ensuring the business is always one step ahead of the Fraudsters
4. Support the Head of Compliance by developing, delivering, and reporting on automated monitoring of customer accounts with indicators of money laundering and terrorist financing
5. Work closely with customer services to ensure effective and efficient fraud handling processes that deliver good customer outcomes
6. Report fraud performance and emerging trends to senior stakeholders, along with recommendations for strategies enhancements
