As part of Morrison Energy Services, t he SHEQ Manager will be responsible for leading the SHEQ performance of the MES Gas Management contra ct, covering projects across the UK. Reporting directly to the c ontract Operations Director and w orking closely with the Gas Management contract team. Y ou will ensure a strategic and proactive approach to managing SHEQ performance e nsuring compliance with relevant statute, regulatory, Client, MES s tandards and s pecifications, whilst driving continual improvement. You will support ongoing relationships and frameworks with existing clients, and agreed strategic targets, in line with a defined SHEQ plan. Duties and Responsibilities Effective and visible leadership of all aspects of SHEQ Determine and ensure compliance against company, client and legislative requirements Ongoing development and deliver y of the SHEQ P lan and associated process to drive continual improvement Ensure alignment with client/ MES vision and values and performance requirements Ensure SHEQ requirements as a minimum meet MES and Client standards Work closely with all management levels in the SPEN team to effectively deliver SHEQ performance on all projects Manage the monthly reporting process information, both internally and to clients Monitor/review a ll relevant aspects of SHEQ standards Present performance information at contract and client meetings as Build a skilled and sustainable SHEQ team to support programme assurance Assist in the contract competence including m anage the implementation and delivery of M E S Group training courses, initiatives, and contract inductions Implement and manage any Incident and Accident investigations including Root Cause Analysis reports, in a timely manner, in in accordance with ME S and client requirements Liaise and collaborate with MES Central SHEQ Willingness to travel which may occasionally includ e overnight stay Education/Qualifications NEBOSH Construction / General Certificate Full UK driving license CSCS Card or equivalent Skills and Knowledge Requirements Knowledge of t he utilities and/or construction sector Ensure Morrison maintains a positive public image by following good practice and adopting a considerate attitude Shows willingness and confidence in engaging with c lients and interacting with stakeholders of all levels Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties and support the long-term business plan Builds a knowledge base of clients ’ business es, systems and objectives Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
