An exciting opportunity has become open for healthcare support worker for the interim, in the short stay arthroplasty unit on ward in Abergele Hospital. This service will be moving to Llandudno early next year for the elective orthopaedic hub. The hub will offer elective orthopaedic procedures in Llandudno for high volume low capacity service users.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of care to service users and to assist with the daily routine of providing hygiene assistance, assist with meals and maintain a safe and clean environment. To work with the registered nurses to provide monitoring of post operative observations and to deliver a safe person centred service standard of care.
