Overview
Location: Lookers Parts Plus, Chelmsford
Salary: £31,500 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm and alternate Saturdays 8am to 12.30pm
We’re looking for an experienced Parts Advisor or Parts Telesales Consultant who is looking to take the next step in their career and become an integral part of the successful running of our PartsPlus centre at Chelmsford.
Working alongside the Parts Centre Manager, your role will be pivotal to our continuous success. You will play an important part in managing the day-to-day duties of our team of Parts Advisors, while also stepping up to support Management as and when required.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic trailblazer to put their industry knowledge and passion for automotive parts to the test, and successfully market and develop parts supplies to retail and trade customers and achieve the centre's goals.
Responsibilities
* Maximising results and parts sales opportunities through advanced preparation and planning
* Qualifying customers' needs through effective communication
* Developing customer relationships through prospecting and maintaining these relationships with follow-up calls
* Retaining a full knowledge base of all stock, parts, accessories, and pricing strategies
* Implementing regular sales calls to drive additional sales opportunities for new/repeat business
* Monitoring performance of the wider Parts team to maintain our success and consistently achieve targets
You’ll be a real go-getter with heaps of industry knowledge and demonstrable parts experience. We need someone who has automotive product expertise as well as a good technical understanding of automotive maintenance. Previous experience working in a Parts department is essential.
You must be a natural communicator with an excellent telephone manner, and be adept at negotiating, persuading, and influencing key stakeholders. You will be commercially astute and a results-driven individual.
