Do you have experience working in an operational, visitor-facing environment? Are you interested in identifying new income generating opportunities for our Science and Innovation Park in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside?
About us
The Science and Innovation Park (SIP) in Wroughton is part of the Science Museum Group (SMG). The 545-acre site plays a vital role in the Group's sustainability activities and is surrounded by the stunning Wiltshire countryside, with lots of wildlife to spot around the site. It also hosts a range of commercial activities, including storage for the cultural sector, space for research and development projects, renewable energy generation and more.
To support the team with the growth and delivery of commercial activities, we are now looking for a Commercial Operations Coordinator to join the team, on a full-time basis until April 2027.
About the role
As Commercial Operations Coordinator, you will ensure that commercial activities at the Park are delivered smoothly, safely and to a high standard.
With support from the Access Team, you will facilitate corporate tours of various spaces at the Park, acting as the main point of contact throughout the planning and delivery of each event. You will also be the site liaison for all long-term clients who use the Park, being a friendly face and efficiently responding to queries about access, planned activities and growth requirements.
You will work alongside the Commercial Delivery Manager to identify new income generating opportunities, hosting site visits with potential new clients, and work with the marketing and communications teams to keep all digital platforms up to date with activity and opportunities at Park.
About you
As Commercial Operations Coordinator, you will be proactive, solutions-focused and efficient. This is a hands-on income-generating role, so you'll be comfortable working operationally - being flexible and responsive as well as delivering excellent customer service at all times. Having the ability to manage a busy workload, alongside and understanding of health and safety will be useful. Due to the nature and scale of the Park, a UK Driving Licence is required in order to navigate the site effectively.
Don't feel you meet all the criteria? We welcome you to apply even if your experience doesn't match directly. With your transferable skills, you could be the right candidate for this, or other opportunities that we have.
