Teacher of Music
Prospero Teaching are working closely with a mixed secondary school located in Southampton.
The school have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional and inspiring Teacher of Music to join their talented Creative and Performing Arts Team.
Applications from experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged and a comprehensive ECT support package would be available if appropriate. The school will also welcome applications from non-qualified teachers with a strong background in Music.

CONTRACT DETAILS
1. Location – Southampton,Hampshire.
2. Position – Teacher of Music
3. Contract or position start date – September 4th 2023
4. Duration / Likely Duration – Permanent
5. Full time/part time – Full time
6. Minimum rate of pay – Paid to scale
7. Hours – 8:30 am – 3pm, plus parents’ evenings and department meetings.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
8. QTS or equivalent ( Or a related Music degree)
9. Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
10. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
11. Hold Right to Work in the UK
12. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
13. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
