We are seeking a confident, reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team. The Assistant Project Manager will support our Project Managers and the wider project team in organizing, implementing, and maintaining project activities. This role requires a proactive, organized individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The Candidate’s roles & responsibilities will include:
* Assist project managers in the preparation and coordination of project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and project schedules.
* Maintain and update project tracking tools, databases, and records.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, site visits, and project timelines.
* Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project components.
* Support the project team in the procurement of materials and equipment.
* Handle administrative duties for active projects.
* Assist in ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
* Provide regular project updates and status reports to project managers and clients.
* Assist with financial tasks, including tracking project budgets, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports.
Essential criteria:
* Electrically biased background
* Knowledge of MEP systems and construction
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK Driving licence.
Preferable criteria:
* Basic understanding of using AutoCAD.
