Position Summary:
Reports to: Area Operations Manager
Working Hours: 12-hour shifts on a 3/4 rotating pattern across days and nights, including some bank holidays.

Main Responsibilities:
Our Production Operatives play a vital role across all areas of the plant, ensuring high standards and supporting our brand. You will be part of a busy team, supported by coordinators, and responsible for your zone's performance using our LEAN manufacturing framework.
Responsibilities:
* Operate food packing lines effectively within a small team
* Perform and record quality checks at specified intervals, escalating non-conformances
* Carry out sanitation and CRP tasks to standard, completing paperwork for traceability
* Maintain a safe, hygienic workplace, contributing to safety improvements
* Drive KPIs related to cost, quality, service, hygiene, and safety
* Take ownership of your zone and support plant standards (housekeeping, hygiene, 5S/lean)
* Use OEE data to improve performance, reduce waste, and enhance quality
* Utilize Lineview data for machine performance and root cause analysis
* Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential
* Basic training provided; good numeric and computer skills are advantageous
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to operate machinery and make minor adjustments
* Results-driven with the ability to meet targets
* Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player
