Responsibilities
This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of organisational activities, engaging stakeholders, and advancing the charity's research and funding initiatives. You’ll provide support across admin, research, events, and fundraising.
Essential experience and skills
You’ll be a confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, and you’ll use your experience in administrative roles to be a fantastic organiser and multitasker:
* You'll have proven experience in administrative roles, with excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent, and you have the ability to draft and proofread documents to a high standard.
* You're a confident and professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* You're proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general IT systems.
* You have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* You'll be flexible and adaptable in your approach, able to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Job details
This is a permanent contract, which pays £24,000 to £30,000 FTE per annum depending on experience. You’ll work 35 hours a week, and get 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and extra days between Christmas and New Year.
We’re willing to consider applications for this role from those wishing to explore full, part time or flexible working options.
Location
You must be based in the UK but will work from home, meeting with the team up to twice a month in London. Some occasional travel is required, such as visits to our research programmes in Swansea, Birmingham, and Bristol. Your travel costs to meetings all meetings above are covered by us.
