Job Title: Project Manager, Qualifications & Tests Development
Contract: Full time, fixed term until 31 July 2026
Salary: £34,500-£44,850 per annum
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (minimum of 2 days per week in the office)

We are looking for a Project Manager to work alongside the Qualifications and Tests Development Team and across the business more widely to modernise and expand our portfolio of high-stakes international qualifications and tests. About the role
The Qualifications and Tests Development team leads on the introduction and redevelopment of curriculum, tests and high stakes qualifications across our entire 3-19 portfolio.
This Project Manager role leads on projects relating to qualification and curriculum change and manages our annual plan for delivery. This means supporting the development of large entry syllabuses and working with regional teams on the introduction of new qualifications. Projects are people, data, process and change related and support the strategic vision.
As a Project Manager in the Qualifications and Tests Development Team, you will:
* Manage the planning cycle for product review.
* Lead meetings and manage groups to achieve excellent outcomes.
* Analyse and use data for an evidence-based approach, and communicate this to stakeholders.
* Work with Customer insight on programmes of customer focus and feedback.
* Develop cross-divisional relationships and work in collaboration with others across the Product and Services Directorate and International Education more widely.
* Contribute fully to collaborative working on quality and continuous improvement in qualifications development process.
About you
You are able to work independently, managing your own time whilst gaining support and input from an empowering team. You are comfortable working and negotiating with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, or you are ready to be supported to gain that confidence.
We are looking for someone with:
* Degree level education or equivalent.
* A project management qualification (desirable).
* Experience of teaching or working in an educational setting (desirable).
* The ability to motivate others.
* The ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders across the business.
* Change management skills.
* The ability to listen to and understand different perspectives on a problem and propose solutions.
