You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of schools and provisions, supporting students in reaching their full potential. What You’ll Do Provide tailored one-on-one and group support to students with diverse needs. Assist teachers in creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments. Help foster emotional and academic growth by building meaningful relationships with students. Collaborate with staff and families to ensure every child feels supported and empowered. About SEND and SEMH Students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) may require additional support due to learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, or developmental delays. This can include conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech or communication challenges. Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs relate to challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, or behavioral difficulties. Students with SEMH often benefit from additional emotional support and strategies to help them engage positively in learning and social settings. About You Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND or SEMH, is highly desirable. This experience doesn’t have to come from a formal job—it could include personal life experience, such as supporting a family member or volunteering. You are patient, empathetic, and an excellent communicator. You are passionate about helping students overcome challenges and achieve success. You are adaptable, proactive, and ready to make a difference. Requirements Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one). Two professional references.
