Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Contract: Full time/Long term Location: West Lancashire Satis Education is recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants for our client Secondary School in the West Lancashire area. The role of a SEN Teaching Assistant is varied and flexible, with each day presenting new challenges. We welcome applications for both part-time and full-time roles. SEN Teaching Assistants Role Includes: Supervising the pupils, ensuring engagement with and task completion of the work set by the class Teacher. Creating a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment. Providing feedback to the class Teacher on pupils’ achievement progress and returning feedback to the pupils under the guidance of the class Teacher. Ensuring adherence to all school policies related to child protection, reporting concerns to the appropriate person. Be flexible, creative, patient, and possess a sense of humour. Hold an Enhanced DBS (on the update service). Have the legal right to work in the UK. Complete an overseas police check, if applicable.
