We are seeking a full-time Assistant Merchandiser to join our client’s Merchandise team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Their hybrid working model includes at least three days in the office.
About the Role
Reporting to the Merchandiser, you will support the planning and trading of product ranges to maximize sales and profit while maintaining stock and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track competitor ranges, pricing, and promotions to inform decision-making.
* Manage the ‘made to order’ (MTO) process, ensuring smooth production and customer satisfaction.
* Support financial planning, sales forecasting, and stock management.
* Conduct sales analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the range.
* Work closely with supply chain, product development, and retail teams to ensure product availability and smooth operations.
* Assist in planning promotions, markdowns, and store allocations.
* Maintain up-to-date reporting and support business-wide analysis needs.
