This newly formed team will be based in our flagship Southampton Office. This is a player-manager role and therefore the successful candidate will also be expected to carry out the role of a Financial Planner, which entailsworking with customers to identify financial requirements and needs as well as recommending suitable investment and advice vehicles to support customers' financial goals. The role will be to coordinate the efforts of the team to deliver exceptional financial planning solutions to new Quilter customers through the means of remote financial advice. The Financial Planning Manager is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of service to our valued customers and the delivery of team and individual KPIs. The team will consist of Financial Planners with varying levels of Advisory experience therefore coaching and mentoring is essential to this role. Oversight of the team's delivery against our advice standards, service standards and competence, in additional to achieving business targets set. Creating a positive and productive team culture is essential, with targeted expansion plans already underway. The Financial Planning Manager will have responsibility for recruitment of new Financial Planners into the team. The team are in fully supported financial planner roles, with leads provided, a dedicated support team and inhouse paraplanning services available. The role will also be a regulated role therefore it's essential the successful candidate is Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Advice About You Located within a commutable distance from Southampton or be prepared to relocate at your expense. You will have strong knowledge of the Financial Services industry as well as an extensive background in Financial Planning. You have previous or current Financial Planner status with a minimum of 3 years' experience and demonstrable success in onboarding new clients into an advice proposition. You will be an excellent, clear communicator and be able to act with focus and care towards the client. Adaptable by nature and who can work professionally and ethically. You'll have a shared vision and disciplined delivery of advice and provision of detailed KPI's, as well as the ability to work under pressure and to manage good working relationships. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in the following key areas: Advice/sales Client relationship management Attainment of KPIs including lead conversion Coaching/mentoring skills Relevant business development experience Leading/managing people in a sales or advice environment As the Financial Planning Manager, you will have a track record of working in financial services in a management or senior advisory position. You will be experienced in regulated financial advice. Be delivery focused, with high energy and drive, and ability to deliver through others. Have exceptional interpersonal skills - able to build relationships and lead through influence at different levels. Creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Able to utilise strong mentoring and coaching skills to engage and lead advisers. You will be focused on results and achievement of targets. Have a high level of personal confidence, able to lead, manage change through influence and persuasion and inspire others. You must have your Level 4 diploma in Financial Advice to be considered for this opportunity.
