Technical Instructor - Adult Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, passionate and committed physiotherapy B4 technical instructor to join our adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy team in North East Essex. You will embrace innovation and integrated working and will be committed to following best practice to ensure patient-centred care, encouraging patients to self-manage their conditions and support registered clinicians in their day-to-day role. This will involve some administration duties alongside direct patient contact, both 1:1 and within group settings.
We are looking for people with experience working in a health or fitness environment, ideally with knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of MSK conditions. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication and health coaching skills.
Part-time hours would be considered. You will need to be willing to travel across multiple sites in North East Essex to meet the needs of the service.
Main Duties of the Job
To work as part of the integrated team to deliver therapeutic input to patients in a clinic setting with the aim of returning them to maximum independent living, within a stimulating environment actively promoting self-management on all activities of daily living.
Work with colleagues across health, social care, mental health, and the voluntary sector to ensure holistic and joined-up delivery of care.
Empower patients to make decisions about their own care and encourage them to exercise their rights and choices, signposting them to relevant community and voluntary services and supporting patients' carers and assistants with management of risk.
Working with Physiotherapists and other members of the team, you will be expected to lead exercise classes, hydrotherapy sessions, and see patients individually. We offer a well-established supervision and appraisal structure, and we have a firm commitment to CPD and evidence-based practice. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical skills and knowledge.
