We are seeking a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Birmingham, supporting their newly developed 'pathway space' within the SEN hub. In this role, you will play a key part in providing tailored support to students with SEN, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
* Assist students in overcoming academic and personal challenges
* Help implement behavioural strategies and support emotional development
* Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create individualized learning plans
* Promote positive behaviour, social and emotional growth
* Monitor and report on students' progress to teachers and parents
* Help manage students' emotional needs using psychology-based approaches
* Work in the 'pathway space', providing a tailored environment for students
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a related field
* Previous experience in an educational setting or with SEN students is desirable but not essential
* A genuine passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs
* A strong understanding of psychological principles and how they can be applied in education
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
* A proactive attitude and desire to support students' development
* Interest in pursuing a career in SEN education, psychology, or educational psychology
