Role
This position involves providing general classroom support and assisting with the delivery of engaging lessons. You will work closely with the teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive environment while supporting children's learning and development.
Contract Details:
- Location: Warrington
- Position: Teaching Assistant - Level 3
- Start Date: January 2025
- Duration: Temporary, likely until the end of the academic year
- Working Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Full day), or part-time options based on school needs
- Pay Rate: From £95 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport with children
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development and education
Additional Training:
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable but not essential, as training can be provided)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the online update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
- Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
