One paid day per year for volunteering in the community As the Commercial Data Analyst, you will report into the Portfolio Manager with responsibility for the targeted analysis and interpretation of financial and operational data from across the business, business reporting and providing modelling support to inform decision-making. This is a fully remote role although you will be required to attend a team meeting at the Redhill office once a month. Key Responsibilities: Developing algorithms and processes to provide priced quotes quickly and accurately to prospective customers. Helping to define, track and report on any marketing activity. Establishing ongoing reporting of performance, in terms of acquisitions and retention. Developing longer term propensity modelling (e.g. retention and lifetime value) Developing algorithms and processes to improve the quality of the data available. Engaging with third parties and help develop their software in line with SES Business Water needs. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in maths, statistics or a science-based subject coupled with a genuine desire to progress and develop their career as part of an ambitious and innovative business. The ability to interpret and analyse data is key as is familiarity with MS Excel and Word and maybe even MS Access, Power BI or Tableau. Flexibility, strong prioritisation skills, initiative and self-motivation coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills are also vital. You will also need to be comfortable working from home because this is a fully remote role with the exception of a monthly team meeting at our offices in Redhill.
