Sales and Account Manager, Japan Gift Cards
The Amazon B2B Gift Cards team is responsible for selling and delivering Amazon Gift Cards and Product Vouchers (Gift codes that can be used only for specific categories) to companies for various use cases, such as customer acquisition campaigns, loyalty programs, consumer promotions, employee incentives, and cash disbursements.
Amazon is searching for a world-class professional to help grow the business and manage customer relationships in Japan. This position is responsible for growing the business through business development & marketing. It's also responsible for large account management, in-store sales promotion planning/execution to raise customer awareness of Amazon gift cards and driving innovation for customers.
This position requires strong relationship management skills and a growth mindset. Analysis of business priorities and results while consistently delivering improved customer experiences is a must.
Further responsibilities include the analysis of the competitive market space and business needs, providing input into product requirements, execution of the sales strategy set by local and global teams, and providing support to your team in achieving its goals.
You will work with global and local stakeholders internal and external to Amazon including:
1. WW and local senior executive team
2. Domestic clients (Japan)
3. Partner integration teams
4. Marketing and operations teams
5. Amazon Business teams
6. Product management, finance, accounting, tax and legal teams, in addition to Amazon category team
Key job responsibilities
* Account Management of Domestic B2B clients
* Acquisition of Domestic B2B Clients
* Managing your own P&L of clients
* To identify and manage projects for the B2B team
* Contributing to projects outside of the primary job responsibilities
* Growing the B2B business top line and bottom line
* Working somewhat independently and autonomously
* Handling difficult problems/efforts and mitigating immediate risks for the business

About the team: The Sales and Account Managers of the B2B Gift Card business are the ultimate owners of the P&L and strategy for this business. The team has multiple channel leaders and team enablers such as marketers, visual designers, etc. All report into the head of Gift Cards for Japan.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Over 5 years experience, particularly in: Vendor management, Business development, channel development, Marketing, Consulting
* University degree and above
* Japanese language fluency (speaking, writing and reading), English conversational and writing to an acceptable level for internal stakeholder discussions
* Root cause analysis and issue resolution skills based on logical thinking
* Strong profit and loss analysis and ownership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* eCommerce and Payments experience
* MBA degree
* SQL skill
* Extensive cross-cultural working experience
* Knowledge on distribution structure of consumer goods
