Interim HR Payroll Team Leader

As Payroll Team Leader, you will oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, while leading a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategically supervise, motivate and lead payroll team of X (number of staff).
2. Maintain your own payroll deadlines.
3. Review the workloads of other members of the Payroll team before sign off.
4. Act as the point of contact for any escalated payroll queries.
5. Review, monitor and implement new processes to better the department.
6. Ensure service levels are met whilst maintaining strong relationships and an accurate payroll function.
7. Ensure Payroll Compliance.
Key Requirements:
1. AAT Level 4 or equivalent experience.
2. Specialist knowledge and experience running all aspects of a payroll function.
3. Sound working knowledge of managing a high-volume payroll.
4. Experience working as an efficient and comprehensive Payroll Team Leader.
5. Proactive, organised and sound analytical/problem-solving skills.
6. A proven ability to mentor and motivate a Payroll team.
7. Ability to liaise with stakeholders and manage expectations.
8. Able to articulate complicated information to non-Payroll experts.
