RECEPTIONIST
Appointment type: Permanent
Location: Loughborough (% office based)
Salary: £23,
Hours: 8:15am – 5:15pm (one hour lunch)
Our client – an established, respected & friendly business based in Loughborough– is seeking an enthusiastic and bright receptionist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Seeking candidates with experience in legal practices, accountancy practices or a similar environment.
THE ROLE:
1. Opening up the offices and reception areas every morning, ready to greet everyone who walks through the door with confidence, professionalism, and friendly welcoming smile
2. Securing its’ offices and reception areas every evening, ensuring the offices are secure and tidy and ready for the next working day
3. Answer the telephone, taking messages, transferring calls and arranging call-back appointments for all contacts or clients
4. Collect and deliver post daily at the nearby Royal Mail sorting office
5. Data entry
6. Managing client appointments and reminders
7. Preparing for and welcoming all visitors for their meetings
8. Looking after meeting spaces, keeping them tidy and ready for all appointments
9. Stationery & general stock management and ordering
10. General administrative tasks, such as scanning, filing, photocopying
11. Option to serve as a Fire Marshal, and First Aider, for those looking to expand their skills and take on more responsibility.
12. Regular Fire monitoring safety equipment routine testing and checks
THE RIGHT PERSON:
Seeking candidates with experience in legal or accountancy practices.
13. People person: Attentive, polite, outgoing, and friendly
14. Safe pair of hands: Calm and reassuring demeanour, even under pressure
15. Experienced: Previous experience in a similar position
16. Strong work ethic: Thorough, meticulous, reliable, and adaptable
17. Excellent communicator: Self-aware, technologically adept, inquisitive, and a team player
