Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations in a timely manner. Responsibilities - Communicate effectively with the warehouse and management teams to ensure accurate loading of goods - Driving a Luton van or similar delivering valuable and often delicate Fine Art objects - Conduct deliveries efficiently and on schedule - Handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading goods - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle Experience/Requirements - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential - Proven experience in either the Fine Art or Removals industry would be very beneficial, as well as experience in handling valuable and/or delicate items - Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record - Familiarity with local routes and navigation apps - Comfortable with driving long distances across the UK, with overnight stays sometimes required - Able to work well as part of a team, and able to form a cohesive partnership with Co-Drivers - Ability to handle physical work including heavy lifting - Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be advantageous - Willingness to assist in other areas of the business (eg. packing and logistics) when not out on the road Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Flexitime On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability Experience: Delivery driver experience: 2 years (required) Driving: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work Location: On the road About Auctionet Auctionet.com is one of Europe's leading marketplaces for art, design, furniture and antiques and brings together over 75 auction houses from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.
