This is a rare opportunity to join the Landlord Product and Pricing team who are responsible for managing Nationwide’s Buy-to-Let mortgage proposition. Buy-to-Let mortgages are a hugely important part of Nationwide and are managed by The Mortgage Works (TMW), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nationwide and the UKs largest buy to let lender in 2023.
In this role, you will be at the heart of the Product and Pricing team, working closely alongside the product manager to monitor trading performance and then propose and implement product and pricing changes. From new business acquisition to customer retention, you will use a combination of data analysis and stakeholder engagement to drive forward the right customer and commercial outcomes.
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual that is looking to grow a career in product management and pricing. This role offers a great entry point to learn, with exposure to many different parts of the organisation and senior leadership.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. What you’ll be doing
You will be joining the TMW Product Management team with a focus on pricing. As well as crunching the numbers to find optimal price points, you will be involved in supporting and implementing propositional change.
From regular reporting to detailed analysis on market changes, you will produce and communicate data to support key decision making across TMW.
You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders such as Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, Intermediary Relationships, Change and Implementation and Marketing to identify their respective needs and combining these with your own judgment to provide informed recommendations to your manager and the senior leadership team.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a robust controls environment on our processes to ensure we are compliant with any data requests and control reviews.

What makes us different
Nationwide is the world’s largest building society. With over 15 million customers, we have a relationship with almost a quarter of the UK’s population. We’ve got the scale to compete with the big banks, but we’re not a bank.
As a building society, we’re owned by our members – that’s our customers who have their current account, mortgage or savings with us. It means we can do things differently to deliver our Purpose – Banking – but fairer, more rewarding, and for the good of society.
When you work at Nationwide, you can experience that difference for yourself. You’ll be part of a high-performing, purpose-driven organisation that offers rewarding career experiences and a highly competitive range of benefits to match.
