The Opportunity
A fantastic position is now available for an experienced and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. This role is ideal for an RVN who thrives in a setting dedicated to accessible and affordable care, allowing you to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver exceptional nursing care, ensuring all patients receive compassionate, high-quality attention.
2. Assist with surgeries, performing all essential pre- and post-operative care.
3. Conduct nurse-led consultations and provide client guidance on preventative care, diet, and behaviour.
4. Support a busy and varied caseload, bringing practical, tailored solutions to each case.
5. Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless care for clients and their pets, aligned with the practice's mission of accessibility and affordability.
Requirements
1. Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS).
2. Passionate about animal welfare, with a commitment to removing barriers to veterinary care.
3. Effective communicator with a proactive approach to teamwork and support.
4. Enthusiastic about working in a varied and diverse caseload environment.
Working Hours
1. Full-time hours over a 4-day work week.
2. Rotational Saturdays, with 2 in 9 weekends.
3. Part-time applications considered.
Benefits
1. Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum.
