Learning Support Assistant (Tier 2) Up to 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time) £23,630 - £25,656 per annum pro rata We are looking for a qualified and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) within our Curriculum Services team to work across the following three City College Norwich campuses: Norwich campus, Easton campus and Paston campus, supporting in a range of learning environments and academic areas. We are particularly looking for BSL signers regardless of a Level 2 LSP award. Applicants for Tier 2 positions will have a full level 3 Learning Support Practitioner Qualification or something similar and a level 3 qualification which is LDD specific e.g., BSL, SpLD, ASD etc. For this tier, you will also have a level C/5 or above GCSE English and maths. You will have knowledge or willingness to work with students with highly complex needs and the successful applicant/s will be asked to offer personal intimate care, feeding, medication and participate in activities such as swimming and outdoor trips (post covid). Experience and knowledge in both care and education settings would be an advantage. You will have an appropriate level of literacy, numeracy, and ICT to support alongside practical or subject based knowledge.
