Burrow down Support Services is looking for an experienced Registered Manager for our community locations covering Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. This is a shared role supporting 52 customers in supported living services.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Supporting Living Services, ensuring Burrow down Support Services is compliant with relevant legislation. Working in partnership with colleagues and the senior management team, you will ensure the provision of a high-quality service enabling individual needs and company priorities to be met in accordance with available resources. Duties and Responsibilities
Compliance
· Maintain and exceed the service's current CQC rating.
· Maintain a high-quality service working in partnership with colleagues to manage services.
· Ensure the service meets, and exceeds, the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2015 and the Care Quality Commission guidance ‘ Essential Standards of Quality and Safety'.
· Manage the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person centred planning and regular outcome focused review of services.
· · Manage and monitor compliance with Burrow Down Support Services Ltd.'s
development, training, and supervision policies.
Service Delivery
· Manage the delivery of person centered care/support services that promote independence, choice, and dignity to empower people to live independently as possible.
· Ensure care/ support services are structured in a way that provides
· Flexibility, reliability, and continuity.
· Ensure all services are accessible.
· · Manage the development of robust systems and procedures.
· Ensure the service is appropriately resourced with the right number of suitably qualified, skilled, and experienced staff.
· Manage all referrals and ensure all are responded to in a timely manner in line with contractual and Company timescales.
· Oversee the co-ordination of care workers across all areas.
· Deliver services that ensure the Company's duty of care to the service user and colleagues providing the service.
· Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders with regard to the provision of services including commissioners, service users, relatives, social work teams and all external parties.
· Manage the office and ensure the provision of an effective out of hours on-call service.
Service Development
· In partnership with the Company Director participate in the strategic development of the Company and assist with the identification and development of strategies for the planning and delivery of quality, innovative services in the Residential Home and Community Services.
· Grow and develop services through increasing delivered hours and maximise referral opportunities
· Identify marketing opportunities and develop a marketing plan.
· Manage projects that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service.
· Produce monthly management reports and attend all company meetings
Team Management and Leadership
· Manage a large staff team both involved in the management and direct provision of the services.
· Ensure that there is a co-ordinated and consistent approach to both service provisions that is cost effective and efficient making the best use of allocated resources.
· Take part in the senior on-call system including out of hours for the Community Services.
· Identify recruitment needs and develop plans to ensure the Community Services are appropriately resourced with capacity for growth.
· Communicate regularly with HR on all matters of employment and training
· Ensure all colleagues are available for training by liaising with the colleagues Line Managers.
· Put in place practices to ensure healthy working and that colleagues receive relevant information to fulfil their Health and Safety responsibilities.
· Offer advice, support, and guidance to all colleagues.
