Job Description
This role is onsite out of our Rugby offices, you are required to be in the office 5 days a week.
This role will involve:-
1. Implementation of the test strategy; test planning including scheduling, resources, configuration and equipment to support the activities required to deliver testing within time, cost and quality.
2. Testing will need to be planned, coordinated and performed on the test environment.
3. Coordinating and conduct testing in the live environment at customer sites as part of the first office application testing.
4. Design and develop work packages and agree with the customer what is required. Conducts full evaluation and provides recommendations.
5. Plan, execute and analyse results, provide recommendations and make decisions.
6. Able to explain technical details in depth and is able to capture issues and challenge understanding.
7. Has detailed and depth of technical knowledge within their specialist area. Is able to readily discuss and negotiate with suppliers and customers on a detailed technical level. Make technical decisions.
8. Is able to design and develop new work package processes and procedures and get approval from customers.

9. Engineering Degree
10. ITIL V3 foundation
11. Excellent written and verbal skills
12. Building working relationships with suppliers and customers
13. Proven practical experience of engineering & customer testing in an telecommunications/IT Networking environment
14. Experience of field testing mobile IP data and voice communications systems and fault diagnostics
15. Proven experience of building and establishing good working relationships with suppliers and customer to deliver solutions
16. Ability to make decisions and provide recommendations to senior management
17. Have experience with Test Tools/Network Simulators
18. Test Automation Tools, API and GUI test Design and Execution
Desirable Qualifications or demonstrable experience:

20. VSAT
21. Low Earth Orbit Satellite Communications
22. SIP/VoIP Call Performance Testing / Telecom Protocols (SIP, RTP).
23. Qualified Software programmer with programming experience using Python, LabVIEW, SQL, or Embedded C
24. CCNA/CCNP qualification
