Systems Integration Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrations Manager to join our IT department here in Harrods. You will be responsible for ensuring service stability, adherence to internal & external service agreements, business continuity, team management, vendor & stakeholder management, and continual service improvement.
About the Role
As the Systems Integrations Manager, you will provide hands-on support and integration development expertise (using both SAP CPI & Process Orchestration as middleware) and will have significant experience of Integration Architecture capabilities, as well as in-depth technical expertise of integration platforms and toolsets.
You will also:
1. Monitor operational performance and out of hours support, ensuring the necessary processes and procedures are in place to respond to alerts and incidents, whether that’s within business hours or during out of hours callouts to the on-call team.
2. Be an escalation point during major incidents, who can help technical teams as well as easily access the higher levels of vendors to positively influence the service and focus we receive.
3. Participate in the Architecture Review Board and Design Authority processes, contributing to discussions as a subject matter expert.
4. Manage team certifications and training to ensure you maintain the best talents in your team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have significant in-depth business process and technical experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration, API Management, and EIC, and will be able to act in an advisory capacity for pertinent design decisions and on the most appropriate approach to delivery.
You will also have the following:
1. Passion for topics in the area of integration, programming, and technology in general.
2. Extensive retail experience in the development and administration of SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP API Management (Integration Suite), Edge Integration Cell, and Advanced Event Mesh.
3. Strong awareness and adherence to best practices of coding, testing, and deployment, with hands-on skills in areas such as ESR / CPI Mapping / Groovy / Java.
4. Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and working with managed backlogs using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
