Behaviour Mentors Needed for Secondary School Position: Behaviour Mentor Location: Primary School in South London Start Date: September 2024 Prospero Teaching is looking to recruit dedicated learning support in the form of Behaviour Mentors. These Behaviour Mentors would work with an Offsted 'Good' school assisting the existing behaviour management team to build a strong connection with students and help their growth on a more personal level then other positions could. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Wembley Position - Behaviour Mentor Type of work - Behaviour Mentor - Learning Support Start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools End date (if applicable) - N/A Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on schools needs Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £120 per day Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover Role Highlights: SEMH Support: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting children, focusing on their behavioural development. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a structured and positive learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group behavioural support to children with Autism. Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised behavioural plans. Foster a positive and structured classroom environment. Monitor and document student behaviour, adapting strategies as needed.
