We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join a good secondary school in High Wycombe. Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the ongoing development of the Art department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 teaching)
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students
* Assess, track, and report on the progress of students in line with school policies
* Contribute to curriculum development and the sharing of best practice within the department
* Foster a positive classroom environment that supports both student learning and well-being
* Participate actively in the school’s continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Art or a related subject. You should have experience teaching at KS3 and KS4, with experience or willingness to teach KS5 seen as advantageous. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Art and committed to raising student achievement in a good school environment.
