We are looking for Befriender Volunteers to provide companionship to people we support in Didcot. The Volunteers will spend time with the people we support by visiting their homes. They will carry out activities such as arts, crafts, music, chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, playing board games, and anything else that both the volunteers and the people we support might have an interest in.

We are looking for Befriender Volunteers to provide companionship to people we support in Didcot. The Volunteers will spend time with the people we support by visiting their homes. Skills Required
1. To be kind, empathetic, and friendly
2. To have a good sense of humour and love to chat
3. To be punctual and reliable
4. To be able to deal with information in line with our data protection and confidentiality procedures

To ensure the safety of the people we support, we require a DBS check and two satisfactory references before a volunteer role is confirmed. As you will be volunteering directly with vulnerable individuals, you will also be required to undertake safeguarding training, as well as any training specific to the role.
