Key Job Responsibilities
1. Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in Python or shell scripts, web technologies, with the potential for Java/C++ based projects.
2. Perform software deployments, support operations, software upgrades, and migrations.
3. Support and enable faster software delivery by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating them.
4. Troubleshoot, debug, evaluate, and resolve identified alarms.
5. Problem-solving and passion for operational excellence.
6. Must be able to prioritize and follow through with detail orientation independently.
7. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Some of the Key Job Functions
1. Provide support for incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, covering multiple features and services.
2. Resolve security vulnerabilities and risks and improve operational excellence.
3. Software deployment support in staging and production environments.
4. System and support status reporting.
5. Ownership of one or more digital products or components.
6. Customer notification and workflow coordination to maintain service level agreements.
7. Work with the support team for handing off or taking over active support issues and creating a team-specific knowledge base and skill set.
Minimum Requirements
1. 2+ years of software development or technical support experience.
2. Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent.
3. Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
4. Experience in Unix.
5. Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
6. Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems.
