The Commercial Expert Analysis team provides expert analysis and testimony in the context of arbitration, litigation, adjudication, mediation and pre-dispute commercial discussions. Situations generally involve complex financial analysis, damages evaluation, loss attribution, economic analysis and investigations, that can arise at any and every stage of a dispute. We also advise on matters investigated or examined by a wide range of authorities including the SEC, DOJ, FCA, CMA and other global regulatory or law enforcement bodies. The team works closely with all teams within the firm providing comprehensive and integrated solutions and can support clients through various phases of a litigation or arbitration, including in respect of technical and industry expertise.
This means a wide and varied exposure for you to be able to develop and gain further skills in areas such as commercial litigation and/or arbitration, regulatory, accounting and economic disputes, shareholder disputes, bankruptcy litigation, competition and follow-on cartel damages cases, fraud investigations and remediation exercises, as well as various cross border disputes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Managing Director within an expanding team, you will gain unparalleled exposure to incredibly exciting projects of a highly sensitive nature with very varied work. In addition, your career and development opportunities are vast with exposure to clients and lawyers from day one. As a Managing Director you will work to:
* Build client relationships, and identify and source new engagements;
* Lead dispute related engagements, including acting as a testifying expert;
* Provide required expert advice to lawyers;
* Assist clients with fact finding and clarifying facts related to either disputes engagement or forensic investigations;
* Project management of a variety of cases;
* New service or product development.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Forensic accountant experience, including from the Big 4, supplemented with a litigation and practice background;
* Excellent academics and preferably chartered accountant;
* Established network, and background in Business Development;
* A logical and methodical approach to problem solving, as well as being able to develop innovative solutions to complex problems;
* Strong numeracy skills with the ability to process and analyse large volumes of data;
* The ability to explain complex, technical issues in an understandable manner to lawyers and lay parties;
* The ability to establish effective working relationships - with a strong client focus;
