The Role
As an IT Support Technician, you will provide technical assistance to maintain the reliability and functionality of our services.
Acting as a primary contact for users, you will manage account access in Microsoft Entra ID and cloud SaaS, ensuring security and compliance, while providing Level 1 and 2 support for Microsoft 365, troubleshooting issues and guiding users.
You will also resolve basic hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as needed, while assisting with software updates and system maintenance to maximise efficiency.
Additionally, You Will
* Assist with password resets and account setups
* Log, categorise, and prioritise incidents in the ITSM system
* Maintain and update documentation for common technical issues and resolutions
* Identify recurring issues and contribute to problem management processes
* Support the implementation of changes to Microsoft 365, providing users with updates
About You
To be considered as an IT Support Technician, you will need:
* Experience managing a Microsoft 365 user environment from a security perspective (300+ users)
* Strong experience in troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
* Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID for user account management
* Experience using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender to manage distributed devices
* Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and manage support tickets effectively
* Experience identifying and addressing recurring IT issues to prevent future incidents
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently
* Excellent communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical users
* The ability to create and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting and user guidance
* Adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and ITSM processes
It Would Be Beneficial To Have The Following Qualifications
* Microsoft Certified: SC-200 – Security Operations Analyst
* Microsoft Certified: SC-300 – Identity and Access Administrator
* Microsoft Certified: SC-400 – Administering Information Protection & Compliance in Microsoft 365
* Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
Please note this role may require occasional travel support the Cenergist business in the UK, as well as meetings, training and conferences.
