We have an exciting opportunity for a brand new Workplace Service Manager role to join our HR team, supporting the Head of Workplace in all aspects of facility management delivery and contract management.
This role will deliver our facility management services within our office portfolio, working with and managing our service partners to ensure high standards of health, safety, and environment compliance are met, as well as supporting wider workplace and activities projects, such as carbon reduction, car, and desk booking.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of the Facilities Management contract ensuring delivery of first-class services, adhering to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to drive improvements to service delivery and innovation.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, listening and responding to feedback to improve service delivery.
4. Ensure that all FM activities and services are compliant with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Oversee the delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance activity.
6. Collaborate with legal counsel and procurement to review, select, and appoint new suppliers and finalize contract terms and conditions.
7. Assist with office relocations and general moves activity to ensure that core services run smoothly.
8. Control the property cost base and assist with budget planning.
Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in facilities contract management or real estate environment.
2. Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
3. Knowledge of building operations and maintenance procedures, including an understanding of mechanical and electrical services.
4. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent organization and time management skills.
6. Experience in budget preparation and management.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work collaboratively within defined deadlines.
10. Experience in cost management and managing budgets.
