Job Description
1. Responsibility for management and provision of administrative support to the boards andrelevant committees within the Group. Responsible for board administration to ensureeffective forward project planning (up to 18 months), organisation and facilitation of boardand committee meetings (including minute taking) including quality checking of all boardpacks.2. To attend meetings within the governance framework and complete accurate minutes.3. To support the non-executive directors and trustees in fulfilling their duties.4. To ensure that key decisions and relevant information from meetings are communicatedto appropriate managers and staff, and followed up where required.5. Oversee and manage Pentana (audit system) in relation to board and committee actions.6. To prepare and circulate information and relevant briefings to non-executive directorsoutside of board meetings.7. To ensure that all meetings and activities are carried out in line with company rules,including providing advice where appropriate to both executive and non-executivedirectors on the application of company rules.
The Successful Applicant
3. Previous experience working as a governance officer
4. Ability to write minutes at board/director level
5. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
