Team Leadership & Resource Planning Lead and support a team of developers and application specialists working on business-critical systems. Allocate team members to daily operations, incident resolution, change requests, and project support. Ensure team performance through clear planning, structured work methods, and regular feedback. Support development and knowledge-sharing within the team. 2. Incident and Escalation Management Set up and maintain a clear and structured procedure for incident response and escalation. Act as escalation point for complex or high-priority incidents, especially around WMS and business applications. Coordinate issue resolution by involving the right team members and ensuring follow-up. Handle urgent system calamities by coordinating communication and tracking resolution. Able to troubleshoot issues in some situations 3. Change Request (CR) Coordination Take ownership of the local CR process, including backlog management and stakeholder communication. Act as a senior Product Owner: gather business needs, prioritize requests in CR boards, and dispatch tasks to appropriate teams. Ensure smooth execution of CRs and report progress to stakeholders in a structured and timely way. Empower the team to deliver predictably through agile (Scrum-based) methods. 4. Customer and Stakeholder Communication Act as a point of contact for account managers and business stakeholders regarding incidents, changes, and planning. Ensure IT support and development efforts are aligned with business expectations and timelines. Build effective working relationships with local and regional stakeholders. 5. Regional & Group Collaboration Collaborate with other Rhenus organizations and Group IT where alignment, support, or integration is required. Engage with the Regional Implementation Center North West (RIC NW) when changes or issues relate to Blue Yonder WMS or regional tools. Align UK planning with central portfolio overviews and project calendars. 6. Project Support Support local projects by providing planning input, resource allocation, and coordination support. Act as a backup for the project manager when needed, ensuring continuity and progress on delivery. What You Bring: Higher professional education in IT, logistics, business information systems, or a related field. 3 years of experience in similar roles involving team leadership and/or project management. Experience in complex and dynamic environments in manufacturing or logistics Strong organizational skills and a structured, calm approach to incident resolution and planning. Knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Blue Yonder) and business-critical applications in warehousing logistics is a strong advantage. Experience with project coordination, Agile/Scrum delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Proficient in planning and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work across departments and cultures.
