A wonderful full-time role is available for an experienced or qualified SEN Nanny in a lovely rural village near Lewes in East Sussex. This role is Monday – Friday 7am – 11am and 3pm – 8pm, with optional Sundays 3pm – 8pm, paying a competitive salary! If a nanny does not want to work on a Sunday afternoon/evening, it is not a deal breaker, but one or two a month would be hugely appreciated.
Mum is a single mother with a 5-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter. Neither child has special needs, but both have high needs. The little girl suffers from acute anxiety, and both children are easily disregulated.
The family is looking for an emotionally intelligent and patient SEN Nanny to join their family long-term and to really help and support Mum, who is feeling overwhelmed with work, solo parenting, and catering for both children’s needs. One overnight stay a week would be needed, organized in advance and paid extra. Occasional extra nights of proxy parenting, organized in advance, may also be required.
The family would love a nanny who would be willing to travel with them during some of the school holidays. All nursery duties apply, along with school pick-ups and drop-offs, and cooking healthy balanced meals for both children, taking into account the 9-year-old's dairy intolerance.
